I often have people ask me, "what is therapy?"
I always answer this question with informing them what therapy is NOT.
I believe that there are many assumptions made about therapy - that you can get advice, that a therapist will tell you what to do in a situation and give you plans and the best one I have heard is, therapy is where you get fixed.
None of these are true.
Therapy is a deep process of self exploration facilitated by a qualified therapist who will ask questions, offer insight but most importantly sit and listen whilst you embark on your journey of self discovery.
