ABOUT MEÂ
HAYLEY MCAULEYÂ
PSYCHOTHERAPIST
Hello and welcome

My name is Hayley, and I’m an Integrative Psychotherapist, offering in person and online sessions. I’m deeply passionate about helping people improve their ability to enjoy life and strengthen their emotional resilience.
In my private practice, I offer a warm, non-judgmental space where you can safely explore the challenges you're facing, with curiosity and compassion.

Am I qualified?
Yes, I’m a qualified Psychotherapist, having completed a Level 6 Diploma in Integrative Counselling with the Inter-Psyche Training Institute (part of Kent and Medway NHS Trust). It’s the only NHS-based counselling training centre of its kind and the course is accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Alongside my psychotherapy training, I hold the following qualifications:
-
MA in Childhood and Youth
-
BSc (Hons) in Psychology
-
Postgraduate Certificate in Health Psychology
-
Postgraduate Certificate in Professional Studies in Education
-
Level 2 in Gym instructing
-
Level 2 in Nutrition

I’m committed to ongoing learning and regularly complete CPD. Recently, this has included Sports Psychology, an introduction to the Still Method, Transactional Analysis, and other short courses to deepen and refresh my practice.

Am I insured and registered?
I’m fully insured with Holistic Insurance, which covers me to legally and ethically practice as a Psychotherapist.
I’m also registered with:
-
The National Register of Psychotherapists and Counsellors (NRPC)
-
The Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy (APHP)
I work in line with their ethical codes and best practice guidance.

How can I help you?
When we work together, we become a team, focusing on helping you overcome difficulties that may be affecting important areas of your life.
I work with a wide range of issues, including, but not exclusive to:
→ Abuse
→ Anger
→ Anxiety and panic attacks
→ Bereavement and grief
→ Childhood-related experiences
→ Depression
→ Intrusive thoughts
→ Low self-esteem and confidence
→ OCD
→ Phobias
→ Relationship challenges
→ Sports performance
→ Stress
→ Trauma

If something is making life harder than it needs to be, we can explore it together.
If I ever feel that another therapist or professional might be better placed to support your needs, I’ll always do my best to point you in the right direction. You’ve taken the important step of reaching out, and I want to make sure you receive the help that truly fits you.

Please feel free to get in touch if you think we might work well together and follow me on social media for helpful resources, mental health tips, and blog posts.
