Hi and welcome to PsychFit! As a therapist, I believe that psychological fitness is as important as physical fitness when it comes to performing your best in sport. I am dedicated to helping athletes develop a strong mind-body connection through the specialist programmes that I offer.
Being highly invested in improving mental health, as well as a keen fitness enthusiast and a parent to a competitive athlete, it gives me the perfect combination of passion and experience to be able to help you. I am all too familiar with the impact that sport can have on mental health on both ends of the spectrum. Exercise, training and keeping physically fit can have such a positive effect on mental health. However, competing at elite athlete levels brings pressure and I feel it is important to be equipped with the psychological tools and strategies needed to bring your A game.

MAC Programme: Motivate, Activate, Concentrate
Motivate, activate, concentrate is a psychological fitness programme designed to help athletes increase their motivation, concentration, attention, and focus in sport. It provides a structured mental training programme that can be tailored to the individual needs of each athlete. With the help of this programme, athletes can develop the mental strength they need to stay motivated and focused while performing at their highest level. The programme also provides tools and strategies to help athletes learn to maintain their concentration and attention during sport activities.
SAM Programme: Stress & Anxiety Management
The Stress and Anxiety Regulation programme is designed to help athletes manage stress and anxiety induced by expectations in sport and during competitions. It provides tools and strategies to help athletes understand and regulate their emotions, set realistic personal goals and practical ways to manage the pressure of competing. Through this programme, athletes will develop the skills to identify and cope with stress and anxiety, allowing them to perform at their best.
