ABOUT ME

Hello and Welcome,

My name is Hayley and I am an Integrative Psychotherapist and Registered Level 1 BWRT (Brain Working Recursive Therapy) Practitioner.  I have a passionate desire to help people improve their ability to enjoy life and to maximise their psychological well-being.  I work in my own private practice both face to face and online and offer a safe, non-judgemental space for clients to explore and be curious about the problems that they face.

Am I qualified?

I am a qualified Psychotherapist having graduated with a Diploma in Integrative Counselling from the Inter-Psyche Training Institute - Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Studies.  This is a Kent and Medway NHS Trust training centre and the only one of it's kind within the NHS.  The Diploma is accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I am also a qualified Registered Level 1 BWRT Practitioner.  I trained with June Hale and Georgina McKinnon, BWRT Training UK South, an approved training programme by the Terence Watts BWRT Institute.

In addition to qualifications in psychotherapy, I also hold the following qualifications:

  • MA in Childhood and Youth

  • BSc (Hons) in Psychology

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Health Psychology

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Professional Studies in Education

Am I insured and registered?

I have Professional Liability Insurance with Oxygen Insurance which provides me with suitable cover to legally practice as a Psychotherapist and BWRT Practitioner.

I am registered with The National Council of Psychotherapists and work within their code of ethics and guidance for best practice.  I am also a member of The Terence Watts BWRT Institute as a Registered Practitioner Member and adhere to the code of ethics of the Institute when using BWRT.

How can I help you?

With both you and I working together, we can help you overcome difficulties in your life that have an impact on your psychological, emotional and physical well-being. I can work with any issues that cause complications in your life.  Examples include but are not limited to:

Abuse

Anger management

Anxiety and Panic Attacks

Bereavement

Childhood related issues

Depression

Low self esteem and self confidence

Phobias

Relationship difficulties

Stress

Trauma

Please do get in contact if you feel we could work together.

In the event that I feel a more specialised therapist or psychological professional is required to best meet your needs, I will endeavour to find someone to help you.  After all, you've started this journey to get the help that you need and that is what is most important.
